It all started with a conversation around the grill, with the flavour of food drifting through  the air. Charcoal barbequing is a powerful emotive experience that is seen as the traditional  method of cooking, however, people generally get turned off due to the difficulty in igniting the charcoal. This resulted in Heston questioning “Why does it have to be this way? How can it be better?” We need to challenge the status quo to create an even better product and grill  experience, and Everdure by Heston Blumenthal was born.
